Communication with the drives and other connected devices is via two real-time EtherCAT and CAN fieldbuses. Optional digital inputs and outputs, analogue inputs and pulse generators simplify integration of further modules. The Motion Control A4S is tested and approved according to the ETG conformance test – ensuring straightforward integration in EtherCAT networks.
The Motion Control A4S has several ways in which it can communicate with the higher-level control unit: EtherCAT, Ethernet, PROFINET, PROFIBUS and CAN. This means that all common fieldbus systems are available.
Extensive libraries for the V2 and V3 runtime systems are available to the user. The AMKmotion modules are selected using the one-for-all tool AIPEX PRO – this speeds up and simplifies implementation of complex applications. The smart panel visualises CODESYS programming.
The Ethernet and USB communication interfaces provide flexible options for accessing the control system.
