Synchronous servo motor with integrated inverter and hybrid cable connection

Less effort, reduced costs

The ihXT is a combination of an inverter and a servo motor. It is optimised for smaller outputs and smaller space requirements. The special feature of this product is a hybrid cable which combines power, STO, 24V supply and communication. To drive several machines and larger systems, the hybrid cable can be looped from ihXT to ihXT according to the daisy-chain principle. This reduces the costs of cabling by up to 90 per cent as compared to a central drive concept.

The shock- and vibration-resistant drive unit sits in an IP65-protected housing, so it is suitable for direct installation in the machine. Functional safety in the form of Safe Torque Off (STO) is on board as standard.

System structure

Automation with no switch cabinet

This example shows an entirely decentralized automation solution. Power is supplied via the iSA which integrates a 24 V supply and DC power supply. As a result, automation without a switch cabinet is possible.
