The well-established iSA has been further evolved to create the decentralized power supply ihP. With an output of eight kilowatts and double overload capacity, it is now possible to connect even more axes. This plug-and-play device offers complete plug-in capability, collects all input signals – fieldbus, 24 V DC, 3 × 400 V, STO – and provides decentralized drives with all the relevant signals via the hybrid cable connection. As a result, the ihP requires little space and reduces costs.
In harsh ambient conditions, the decentralized power supply is protected by its dustproof and water-jet-protected IP65 housing. The device is resistant to shock and vibration resistant, too. Motion control and energy recovery are integrated in the lightweight aluminum housing. The integrated gateway function to master controllers simplifies and relieves the machine control. Thanks to external DC bus capacity, the system can be designed to be application-specific and energy-optimized, thereby ensuring flexibility and energy efficiency.
All signals to be connected are fed to the device via connectors. On the output side, a decentralised drive train is connected via a hybrid cable connection.
Available either as EtherCAT switch functionality or as motion controller / gateway function.
