Although the number of available trainees continues to decline in Germany, AMKmotion GmbH + Co KG, headquartered in Kirchheim unter Teck, has hired a total of ten commercial and industrial trainees for 2022. The company is one of the technology leaders in the fields of electric drive technology, control technology and industrial automation technology. AMKmotion currently employs a total of 20 trainees.
To ensure that the new trainees are well trained and feel as comfortable as possible, a trainee team was founded to accompany the new colleagues. The experienced team members are on hand to give the "AMKmotion-Youngstars" advice and support, and the fun factor is not neglected either. This can be followed on the Instagram channel, which was recently created especially for the trainees.
AMKmotion supports the applicants in their career decision. "We are happy to offer applicants an internship lasting several days as part of the selection decision, in order to get a taste of the company and the apprenticeship," reports Ralf Bofinger, head of industrial training at AMKmotion. During the internship, the potential trainees not only learn about the tasks of the apprenticed professions, but can also get an impression of the good working atmosphere.

What do the trainees at AMKmotion particularly appreciate? The flexible working hours and the relaxed interaction with each other are very important for many. For others, the positive atmosphere and the varied activities are a great motivating factor. A major benefit is the newly equipped training workshop. It enables trainees in the industrial area to work independently on their own projects. The prospect of being taken on after the apprenticeship is an incentive for many.

This year, a total of eight apprentices successfully completed their training in the commercial and industrial areas. All of them were taken on as permanent employees. AMKmotion is pleased about the enrichment by the new employees. Mr. Bofinger is particularly proud of the fact that this year's chamber winner in the occupational profile of the electronics technician for machines and drive technology comes from the AMKmotion team.

For 2023, AMKmotion is again looking for interested and motivated school leavers who are keen to complete a high-quality and exciting apprenticeship in a technical environment. Eight apprenticeship positions will be available for three apprenticed professions: Electronics Technician for Devices & Systems (m/f/d), Electronics Technician for Machines & Drive Technology (m/f/d) and Machining Mechanic (m/f/d).
